ShortTale mobile application, website, and related services

1. Introduction and Scope

Cousins Trading LLC ("ShortTale," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the ShortTale mobile application, website, account services, video services, subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertising-supported features, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy applies to information processed by ShortTale and by third-party software development kits ("SDKs") and service providers integrated into the Services. The specific providers and processing activities available to a user may vary by device, country, app version, consent choices, and service configuration.

By using the Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by law, we will request it before the relevant processing occurs. You may withdraw consent through available privacy settings or by contacting us, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account and authentication information

When you create or access a ShortTale account, including through Google Sign-In or another supported authentication provider, we may receive and process:

• Your name, email address, profile image if made available, and authentication-provider account identifier.
• ShortTale user ID, account status, authentication tokens or session status, and account security records.
• Information you provide when contacting customer support or submitting a privacy request.

We use this information to create and secure your account, authenticate sign-in, synchronize viewing activity and purchases, provide cross-device access, prevent unauthorized use, and communicate about the Services.

2.2 Viewing and app activity

We may collect or generate viewing history, playback position, content selections, favorites, searches, downloads, subscriptions, coin or entitlement balances, advertisement interactions, reward completion, and other interactions with the Services. We use this information to deliver content, remember progress, maintain entitlements, personalize recommendations, measure service performance, prevent abuse, and improve ShortTale.

2.3 Device, technical, diagnostics, and network data

ShortTale and its service providers may process:

• IP address, device type, device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, network type, carrier, and country or approximate location inferred from IP address.
• Advertising ID, App Set ID, Firebase installation ID, push-notification token, app-instance identifier, and other resettable device or installation identifiers.
• Crash logs, diagnostics, performance information, request logs, timestamps, security events, and information used to detect fraud or invalid traffic.

The Services connect to ShortTale infrastructure, including api.drameloapp.com, and may connect to third-party providers identified below.

2.4 Advertising and attribution data

ShortTale may display advertisements. ShortTale and advertising, mediation, analytics, and attribution partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, consent signals, ad requests, ad impressions, clicks, video-ad completion, rewarded-ad events, conversion events, installation source, campaign information, and fraud or traffic-quality signals.

This information is used to serve contextual or, where permitted and consented to, personalized advertising; limit ad frequency; measure campaign performance; attribute installations and purchases; provide rewards; detect invalid activity; and improve advertising and service performance. Depending on applicable law and your choices, you may receive non-personalized or limited ads. Resetting or limiting your advertising identifier may affect advertising personalization and attribution.

2.5 Purchases, subscriptions, and payment records

Purchases and subscriptions are generally processed through Google Play or another authorized app-store payment provider. ShortTale does not ordinarily receive your complete payment-card number. We may receive and retain limited purchase information, including product or subscription identifier, order identifier, purchase token, price, currency, purchase status, billing period, renewal or expiration status, entitlement status, cancellation or refund information, and fraud-validation results.

We use purchase information to provide paid content and benefits, validate and restore purchases, maintain subscription access, process support and refund requests, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal requirements. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy policies and terms.

2.6 Notifications, website data, and communications

If you enable notifications, we may process a push token and notification preferences to send service, account, content, or promotional notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings. The ShortTale website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security, basic operation, and preferences. If non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, we will provide any notice and choices required by law.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services.
• Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and synchronize activity and entitlements.
• Deliver videos, recommendations, subscriptions, in-app products, customer support, and notifications.
• Display, measure, and optimize advertising and attribute campaigns and conversions.
• Monitor performance, diagnose crashes, detect fraud and invalid traffic, and protect users and the Services.
• Comply with law, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, and protect legal rights.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, or similar law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract to provide requested Services; legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and measuring the Services; consent for activities such as personalized advertising or certain analytics where required; and compliance with legal obligations. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

5. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose or make information available to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

• Authentication and platform providers, including Google Sign-In and Google Play Services.
• Payment and distribution providers, including Google Play Billing.
• Cloud, hosting, content-delivery, database, security, email, and customer-support providers.
• Analytics, diagnostics, messaging, attribution, advertising, and mediation providers.
• Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
• A successor or counterparty in a merger, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable safeguards.

Some privacy laws define certain advertising-related disclosures as "sharing" or "sale" even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, we provide required choices concerning targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Depending on app version and configuration, ShortTale may use the following services. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and contractual terms:

• Google: Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Google Play Services, Google Mobile Ads, and related platform services.
• Firebase: Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, Installations, and related Firebase services.
• AppLovin MAX: advertising mediation, consent management, ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
• AppsFlyer: mobile measurement, attribution, campaign analytics, deep linking, and fraud prevention.
• Advertising partners and mediation adapters that may be enabled through our advertising stack, such as Google/AdMob, AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Pangle, Vungle/Liftoff Monetize, InMobi, ironSource/LevelPlay, Mintegral, DT Exchange/Fyber, BidMachine, Moloco, and other configured demand partners.

The presence of an SDK or adapter does not necessarily mean that every provider receives information from every user. Provider availability depends on configuration, geography, consent status, ad demand, and app version. Users should review the privacy information presented by these providers and applicable device or app-store privacy controls.

7. Advertising and Privacy Choices

Where required, ShortTale or its consent-management provider will request your choices before using data for personalized advertising or certain analytics. You may be able to review or change these choices through an in-app privacy option. You may also control or reset advertising identifiers and ad personalization through Android or Google settings. Withdrawal of consent does not prevent all advertising; you may continue to receive contextual or limited ads.

California and other U.S. state residents may have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as defined by applicable law. Submit a request using the contact details below and include your country or state and the request you wish to exercise.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining account security and purchase entitlements, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and complying with legal, tax, accounting, and app-store requirements. Retention periods vary by data category and legal requirement. When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained where it can no longer reasonably identify you.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your ShortTale account and associated personal data through the available in-app account-deletion function or through our web deletion page:

You may also email lannniaga@gmail.com with the subject "ShortTale Account Deletion". We may verify your identity before completing the request. Following a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize account information and associated activity, except information we must retain for legal compliance, transaction records, refunds, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or enforcement. Deleting your ShortTale account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription; subscriptions must also be managed or canceled through Google Play.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encrypted transmission, access controls, service monitoring, restricted personnel access, and incident-response procedures. No internet transmission, device, or storage system is completely secure. Keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. International Data Transfers

ShortTale is offered internationally. Information may be transferred to and processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual or organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and appeal a privacy-request decision. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority.

We may request reasonable information to verify identity and authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

13. Children’s Privacy

ShortTale is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Additional age thresholds or parental-consent requirements may apply under local law.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, SDKs, business practices, or legal requirements. The effective date at the beginning of this Policy identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice through the app, website, or another appropriate channel before material changes take effect.
